Healthy mind and healthy body is a key to peaceful life. One needs to take proper care to avoid contracting any diseases. With the fast moving times, people are living stressful sedentary lives. These people are prone to blood pressures, diabetes, heart stroke and other ailments. Main reason for contracting such ailments is imbalanced diet, lack of exercise, sedentary lifestyle, stress and pollution.

One needs to understand that they are earning to live comfortably and the whole purpose is defeated if they are unwell or diseased. Here are few health tips that may help an individual in leading a balanced and a healthy life.

1.    Drink at least 8 glasses of water during the day. Water is the best way to flush out the toxins from your body. Not to forget that water can help you improve your complexion too.

2.    Have a good and healthy breakfast. Many people skip their breakfast because they are getting late to office. This is the biggest mistake that one can make. Healthy breakfast gives enough energy to your body to help you perform your tasks effectively till the next meal. Your lunch should be moderate and devoid of spicy and fried stuff. Dinner should be light so that your body can digest it easily.

3.    Yoga or power yoga is a great way to fitness. Yoga helps you to improve your concentration. Practicing yoga is a key to physical and mental health.

4.    Eating fresh fruits and drinking fresh juices helps your body to generate good enzymes in your body. These enzymes help a person to alleviate his fitness level.

5.    Brisk walking is a great way to stay fit and prevent health disorders. If you are extremely busy and find it difficult to schedule a slot for brisk walking then you can walk short distances to super markets, or your kid’s school instead of driving. Take stairs instead of an elevator to keep your fitness level high.

6.    Quit smoking: smoking has harmful effects on your body so it is better to quit it completely.
